Pit crews for each late model team had a chance to shine and get their driver on the poll. The 40-laps Topless Late Model feature event line up was determined by how fast the crew could remove the hood, placing it back with the hood pins and changing the back rear tire. If the crew left any lug nuts loose, there was a 2-second penalty for each.

The crew with the fastest pit crew stop was for driver Rhett Carter, 2nd fastest crew was for Tom Jones, Jr. and the 3rd fastest crew was the crew on the Scott Johnson late model.

At the end of the Topless 40-laps Late Model race, Scott Johnson picked up $3,000 for his win.
