Wayx Speedway had another exciting night racing South Ga. style on June 27th, 2009.

Mark Carter took home top honors in the Late Model Class, his first win of the 2009 season.

Donnie Durrance was declared the winner in the Limited Sportsman Class after Brandon Spradley Limited Sportsman car did not pass inspection after the win (it was reported that B. Spradley limited sportsman car was 30-lbs. too light).

Paul Jones was declared the winner in the Super Street Class after the McCarty Racing Machine # 2-Scott Crews was protested and didn't pass the protest (gears).

Brian Wooten picked up 2-wins in one-night in the Pure Stock Events. On June 13, the Pure Stock Event was re-scheduled due to the lights going out during this event. The June 13th race was the first business taken care of on June 27th.
